A non-profit cultural association established in 1991, located in Ramallah, interested in drama, theater, visual arts and heritage, works to promote cultural life through programs and activities to develop the talents of youth, children and women. The troupe produces annually theatrical plays and Drama for adults and children, and has many artistic tours through all cities, where it presents the theatrical productions. The Society organizes a festival for culture and heritage under the name of “Ramadan Lanterns Festival”, and the “Summer Camp for Arts and Heritage”. It also holds specialized trainings in several types of performing arts and storytelling. The “Popular Theatre” activities and programs are run by a board of 9 persons, elected every two years by the public body of the society.
